- Segmentations are about categorising or organising your companies - they help in searching and reporting and can be used in filters.
- Profiles are about recording some extra details against a company. These fields are usually optional and could contain details that are particularly useful for your account manager or service coordinators.
- Contact profiles allow you to record extra details specific to a person, rather than a company. So besides all the regular contact fields like name, email address and so on, you might want a field to track a person's suitability to invite to annual events hosted by your company.
