AffinityLive provides an interface for you to create invoices for the work you do, and to receive payments. However, for full accounting functionality, we recommend integrating AffinityLive with an online accounting system.
AffinityLive is a complement to your accounting system. The integrated invoicing features help you get paid for all of the client work you manage in AffinityLive.
Ensure you get paid for your billable client activities using the simple invoicing features - which can even be built into the business processes for a job or issue. Customise line items, edit invoices after creation and notify clients by email.
Invoicing from a job is made easy as your workflow items are easily transferred onto the invoice as line items - including description, hours, billable rate and more. You can easily invoice for a percentage of the job budget or for work completed.
Issue approval and invoicing allows you to maximise the billable hours of your service and support staff. You can invoice for the quoted budget on an issue, or simply for the time spent at an hourly rate. You can invoice multiple times for the same issue, and add line items for clarity.
Creating invoices for contract work is achieved by invoicing for each package within the contract. The ability to renew and invoice multiple packages at once is coming soon!
Payments can be recorded in AffinityLive, not simply per invoice, but for multiple invoices. You can even record a surplus of payment which results in a credit against the client.
After recording a payment in AffinityLive a receipt will be recorded. You can use this receipt to notifying the client, thanking them for payment. With an integrated accounting system, the receipt record will be automatically created.

While Quickbooks have recently been making a concerted push into the online environment with their Quickbooks Online product, there are still many millions of businesses running the installed, offline version of the accounting package.
If you're managing your accounts online with Xero, you can easily push AffinityLive invoices directly to Xero for approving and sending. Payments received in Xero are pulled back to AffinityLive, making your accounts housekeeping too easy!
Invoicing from AffinityLive is nice, but if you need this information in your accounting system then you're facing double data entry problems.
