Google calendar sync is configured from your Integrations screen (from the menu next to your user name).

It has 2 main features:

  1. Meetings (or scheduled activities) that you create in AffinityLive will be pushed into your Google calendar (and any changes from Google are pulled back to AffinityLive).
  2. Appointments created just from your Google calendar will be pulled into your AffinityLive schedule.

For example, a meeting from 1pm to 2pm will simply block 1hr from your AffinityLive schedule on that day, which gives you a better idea of availability and workload.

Firstly,setup the meeting/appointment in Google:

 

And within a minute the item will appear in your schedule, marked with red. All external calendar items will appear this way:

For privacy purposes, other staff will only see that an External Appointment exists, but you can see the subject and may click through to view all the details in your Google Calendar.
